Dr John Price has a PhD in mathematics (Australian National University), engaged in research and teaching positions in major universities worldwide (England, the USA, Italy, Switzerland, and Australia), and published books and numerous papers on mathematics, physics, and finance. Dr Price learned Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation technique in 1962, became a teacher of Transcendental Meditation in 1972, and started the first Centre to teach Transcendental Meditation in Canberra, Australia.
In the 1990s he was Head of the Mathematics Department at Maharishi International University, Iowa, USA, and spent four months as a senior academic advisor at Maharishi Vedic University Cambodia (1994). In 2000, he returned to Australia and led the Transcendental Meditation Movement for four years. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of New South Wales overseeing the double degree program in mathematics and finance.
Dr Price developed the investment software Conscious Investor® and sold the rights to Teaminvest Pty Ltd. Currently Dr Price is Head of Research and Development for Teaminvest Pty Ltd and Conscious Investor Fund, author of the acclaimed book The Conscious Investor, and on the editorial board of the International Journal of Mathematics and Consciousness.
